Realtors® have the opportunity to increase their skills, productivity and knowledge by taking advantage of the more than one dozen real estate designation and certification programs offered through the Institutes, Societies and Councils affiliated with the National Association of REALTORS®. Surveys show that agents and brokers who hold professional real estate designations are more productive and earn more income than those who don’t.
The Greater New Bedford Association of REALTORS® is very pleased to offer its members the opportunity to fill some of the requirements for these designations here at our Member Service Center. We are currently offering one module required for the Graduate, REALTOR® Institute (GRI). We hope to offer one designation course in the Fall. Be sure to check back for updates. Below is a brief description of the GRI designation as well as other designations which we have offered in the past.

It consists of six modules which comprise the 90 hour Realtor® Institute program. The modules may be taken in any order, however all six must be taken within a five-year time frame. The CBR designation (Certified Buyer Representative) was developed to teach real estate practitioners the skills necessary to effectively practice ethicaal, non-adversarial buyer agency in today's competitive marketplace.
